As the Sensory Technical Support & Panel Leader, you will join the expanding User & Product Experience (UX/PX) & Sensory Science Department, currently comprising over 30 scientists worldwide. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the UX/PX & Sensory Scientist and the Panel Leader to prepare, organize, and conduct sensory sessions with our future French-speaking expert panel.

This exciting position places you at the heart of our sensory operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful setup and smooth running of the new panel, overseeing all related activities. You will also ensure that our sensory laboratory is well-maintained and that all evaluations, whether for the expert panel or internal prototype testing are planned and executed on time, in close coordination with the Scientist.

You will play a key role in establishing our sensory lab and will work hand-in-hand with panel leaders to successfully install and support our future panel.

Key Accountabilities

Support in the preparation and execution of expert panel sessions while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the sensory lab.

- Lead and execute panel sessions with the expert panel for smaller projects

- Support scientist with the panel leading & training for bigger projects

- Prepare and set up all materials needed for sessions with the trained panel. Included but not limited to sample preparation, setting up the sensory laboratory, preparing sensory booths, welcoming participants

- Assure that product tastings are being done as briefed by the Scientist and according to sensory best practices

- Organize and arrange the sample preparation for each tasting session

- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the sensory lab; keeping track of materials, resources and their availability.

- Support the Scientist in the documentation of sensory best practices related to laboratory and panel management

- Assist and provide information to the panel members during tasting sessions

- Arrange sample sending and arrival for panel trials

- Support in the creation of electronic questionnaires to collect sensory data

- Support data preparation and analysis
