Proclinical are recruiting a Software Engineer for a CRO. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Leuven.


Responsibilities:

  • Guide and handle projects for one or several software applications or developments.
  • Produce software applications by adhering to software development lifecycle, which involves necessities collecting, designing, development, testing, release and upkeep.
  • Contribute to software validation process through development, evaluation, and/or implementation of test plan/cases/scripts.
  • Discussed with the team members on projects, development, tools and processes.
  • The ideal candidate will utilise abilities in development areas which involves object focused programming (C#), databases (SQL), Model, View, Controller (MVC), Entity Framework (EF), and web applications (ASP.NET).
  • Offer end-user assistance which involves setup, installation and upkeep for applications released.
  • Other duties may be assigned to this role.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Educated to a degree level in a computer science field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in software development, which involves using MVC, Angular, Bootstrap, Web API, SPAs, Webservices, C#, HTML, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Entity Framework, TFS, GIT, relational database, software development life cycle (SDLC), software release management, etc.
  • Familiarity working with modernising systems would be beneficial.
  • Communication skills both verbally and in writing with the ability to be analytical.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Acquaintance working with medical image would be advantageous.
