For our client Oncomfort we are looking for aSoftware Engineer.

Oncomfort is a scale-up company active in healthcare and the inventor of and leader in Digital Sedation™. Digital Sedation is a safe and effective digital therapy to manage patients’ pain and anxiety before, during and after medical procedures, without medication.Company

Tasks and responsabilities

You will develop and maintain APIs and backend applications to support our Digital Sedation Solution Sedakit ™ operating WorldWide.

With the team, you develop features that contribute to the product roadmap, translate design and product documentation into technical specifications and subsequently develop them as new features.

You will write efficient code, optimise the general performance of our software and help keep bugs at a minimum level through Unit Testing.

● Rest API and applications

● Explore new technologies and solve cutting edge technical challenges

● Participate in all aspects of the project life-cycle, from design through release

Your profile

● Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Software development or equivalent

● 3+ years of development experience in a professional development team

● Proven API and Web application development experience

● Fluent in English and Dutch or French

● Strong knowledge in one of these languages: NodeJS/Typescript, PHP or Python ( +development framework and unit test framework)

● Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS,VueJS, Angular, …)

● Knowledge of one Relational Database : MySQL, PostrgeSQL or MsSQL

● Experience with git, github

● Able to use day to day tools like npm, composer, json, postman, docker

● Technology enthusiast, you are open to learn new skills in relation to Devops, big data and Microservices.

● Fluent in English and Dutch or French

It would be a plus if you have experience with :

● Familiar with at least one public cloud (AWS is a plus) tools

● Ticketing system : Jira or equivalent

● Serverless (Lambda)

● Knowledge of one NoSQL Database: MongoDB or DynamoDB or...

● Single Page Application

● CICD tools : Jenkins, Circle-CI or Git-Action
