Project/Department Description and Responsibilities
Together with the Technical Team Lead, you’ll Coordinate a IT software development team and guarantee the quality of services delivered to clients by his team. Manage, organize, represent and optimize the activities of his team.
Carry out one or several trans-boundary projects (concept, follow-up, implementation, evaluation) taking care to respect scope, timing, budget and quality, in accordance with the internal processes of the company.
Primary Tasks and responsibilities
o Communicate and implement the changes/projects necessary within the Development-Unit based on the strategy determined by the management of the department.
o Based on the analysis, observations and experience in the field, advice the strategic reflection of the management through recommendations (strategic notes).
o Support the fellow team members to enable them to achieve the highest standards of quality of services delivered to customers.
o Support the evaluation & objectives of each team member in close collaboration with the team-lead
o Define a training plan for all employees (hard and soft skills).
o Coach and motivate employees to achieve their goals.
o Foster team spirit and encourage the production of positive ideas to improve the way of working.
o Ensure the achievement of the team’s objectives and compliance with internal rules and procedures through: delegation, task division, priority setting for the team, resource planning and management, monitoring and continuous support.
o Ensure that the services delivered comply with the requirements defined in the company’s standards (Scrum, ITIL, SLA,...)
o Make sure the availability of relevant information enabling all employees to accomplish their missions is available and comprehensive. Communicate effectively to internal and external customers and suppliers in case of problems.
o Determine and assign the activities to the project members
o Supervision of the ’project review’ process so that there is a dynamic of continuous improvement based on the lessons learned
o Apply the knowledge, tools and processes for the Development-Unit
o Actively cooperate and participate individually and in a team in the acquisition and development of the knowledge, tools and processes in those domains.
o Ensure stakeholder management, partnership, cohesion and synergy with all the parties involved (client, project team, sponsors, suppliers, unions, users, management, other departments, ...) in relation to the objective of a project.

Technical profile requirements
• Technical background as developer (Java & .NET)
• Expert knowledge SCRUM, Scrum-scaled, (f.e.: SAFE )
• Very good knowledge of cloud-technologies
• Very good knowledge of Devops is a strong plus
• Good knowledge of Project/Program Management: Planview, MS Project
• LEAN-methodology is a nice to have
• knowledge of ITIL Foundation Methodology is a Nice To Have
• Good knowledge MS Office
• Good knowledge of corporate governance process
• knowledge of legal and administration is a nice to have
Non-Technical profile requirements

Methodology/Certification requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science OR equivalent through experience.
