What does this job entail?

Together with your colleagues, you support the application ‘Dimension’: the core system for the management of our investment portfolios.You will do this as a much-valued member of the KBC Asset Management team. It’s the ideal job if you’re not only looking to apply your development skills but are also interested in acquiring business insights.

What do we expect from you?

  • Throughout the week you could be working on any one of these things: software development, application integration, package configuration, testing, deployment, ...
  • You perform business analysis.You listen to the requirements of the business stakeholders to get a clear understanding of the changes that are needed.
  • You create a functional design of the implementation in Dimension.
  • You implement and test your functional design. This comes with support for the business colleagues when issues would arise.

Your key strengths?

  • You’re interested in the world of investments.
  • It’s appealing to you that this isn’t a purely technical / development role. You look forward to thinking along with business stakeholders and acquiring interesting business insights.
  • You are willing to develop yourself in vendor package implementation and deployment & release management. Already have experience with this? Even better.
  • Working independently is no issue for you. You are driven to deliver top-notch solutions: performant, secure, easy to maintain and well documented.
  • Just like your colleagues, you are not afraid to try different approaches and challenge existing ones. You enjoy open discussions with other technical experts.
  • You have a positive mindsetand get a kick out of achieving goals together with your colleagues.
  • You communicate fluently in English.
