Telenet Business helps turn Belgian business customer’s digital challenges into opportunities by making digital unconventionally simple and frictionless.
Within the Value Proposition Team and the Portfolio department in general, customer needs are the core of our existence. They guide our priorities in the development & maintenance of our propositions & solutions. We also position our brand, solutions and go2market plans for the different customer segments.
B2B used to be considered as a deeply technical domain, but many lost track of the fact that there are people behind every decision. People who are overwhelmed by everything digital and who expect their partner to help them in their digital challenges. Businesses which are looking for a technology provider with a human touch.
To further assist us in this transformation we are looking for a Strategic Marketing Manager.
Along with the 2020 BAM Marketing Personality of the Year and our team of Proposition Managers you will be turning our Marketing Framework into reality, translating our portfolio into understandable propositions and making it insightful for customers.

So what will you be doing?
Bottom line, the position has two major responsibilities:
1. Deploying the Marketing Framework
· Assisting the Proposition Managers to challenge & translate their propositions in compelling customer stories
· Simplifying our portfolio into a well-understood framework of clustered solutions
· Creating a consistent story connecting our propositions within a defined segment according to customer needs.
· Create & implement positioning for the clusters in our portfolio
2. Be the go-to-person for the SME and/or LE segment:
· Build, extend & evangelize knowledge on SME and/or LE within the organization
· Craft relevant segment-oriented combined offers: bridge existing and to-be-developed components of our portfolio of solutions & services, cross product lines and cross service organizations.
· Centralize all available segment data & insights in cooperation with the Data & Insights Manager
Are you…
· A marketing profile with a strong affinity for technology? Someone who is able to translate complex technology into customer language.
· Strong in stakeholder management, and do you like working in a team?
· Someone with empathy for the customer, who is energized by interactions with the customer and the market in general?
· Positive and open to feedback?
· Always looking for ways to improve the organization and/or yourself?
· Hands-on, proactive, problem-solving and do you take ownership of the matters for which you are responsible?
· Flexible, and happy to contribute towards a positive working environment?
What knowledge & skills are needed?
· At least seven years’ experience in marketing and preparing propositions, preferably focused on B2B;
· Experience with customer research, identifying customer needs & opportunities
· Understanding of value proposition design
· Business acumen: business & product strategy
· Understanding of market orientation such as competitive research, market trends & knowledge
· Problem solving & creative thinking skills
· Fluency in Dutch and English;
