Job Purpose and Impact

The Supply Chain Coordinator will support a full scale of complex customer service and planning activities across the globe. In this role, you will proactively maintain an ongoing relationship with supplier and customers working closely together with commercial team. You need to provide planning availability, schedule information within established guidelines, independently resolve complex issues, and review and create moderately complex reports for analytics. This position is located in Cargill’s Biodiesel business, a growing business with a variety of supply chains to manage: from our biodiesel production facilities to trading terminals and worldwide commodity imports and exports. The Biodiesel business has been constantly growing over the past years, and will further grow in future with our new plant MIDAS being build! You will be part of a very energetic team were team spirit is key.

Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and maintain systems and strategic relationships that meet customer demand forecast, as well as other databases related to shipments and inventory management.
  • Use thorough knowledge of complex customer service practices and procedures to independently validate and execute customer service strategies.
  • Advise customers about order status, invoices, contract balances and other information needed to complete the sale.
  • Be a key member on improvement projects and commitments requiring a comprehensive understanding of customer service practices and procedures.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Demonstration of high level product and process knowledge
  • Process minded
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience
