About the role

Responsible for developing, optimizing and maintaining the detailed production plan for Packaging lines based on requirements from market & Supply Planning, Quality, Regulatory and considering available capacity, efficiency, components, shipment, logistics with a particular focus on updating, maintaining and enhancing current tools.

How You Will Contribute

PLANNING 75%
  • Develop the detailed Packaging plan at a defined frequency (weekly) that is in alignment with RCCP (capacity planning)
  • Validate the demand requirements with the Supply analysts
  • Coordinate & validate the weekly planning with procurement team
  • Review the planning with production packaging team, logistic team and quality team on a set frequency (weekly), propose adjustments to Supply analysts if needed, and finalize the detailed packaging planning.
  • Communicate the final packaging planning to manufacturing operations to ensure alignment & highlight the potential missing documents or components with close follow-up to ensure no production disruption vs committed planning.
  • Issue and maintain work orders in ERP system.
  • Participate to monthly Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP).
  • Secondary contact for planned sample requirements and/or planned stability study requirements to be considered in the volume planning.
  • Manage special packaging requests, repackaging, bulk pack for stability and/or clinical requests.
  • Ensure back-up of production planner colleagues.
  • Updating, maintaining, and enhancing current tools supporting the production planning, metrics & RCCP.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects and support initiatives within supply chain value stream (i.e. planning tool)
METRICS ANALYSIS/REPORTING 15%
  • Collect, analyze, create/update, and report supply chain key business metrics (i.e. planning changes, target stock empty vials, visual inspection) on a required frequency (i.e. daily/weekly).
  • Ensure cycle time optimization (scheduling linked to end of Incubation process).
  • Prepare the capacity meeting for packaging and visual inspection.
  • Reconcile SWFI’s (Sterile Water For Injection) inventories to meet business needs.
  • Report all deviations from the committed timelines and raise the flag on any raw material limitations to the next level up.
BUSINESS EXCELLENCE/CHANGE MANAGEMENT 10%
  • Lead continuous improvement projects and support initiatives within supply chain value stream (i.e. planning tool).
  • Participate in daily production Tier 1 meetings.
What You Bring To Takeda
  • Bachelor of Business Administration
  • 2 years professional experience in Production Planning or Logistics
  • You have a strong knowledge of Excel, Access
  • You have sound communication skills
  • You have an excellent team spirit
  • You are rigorous
  • You are flexible & autonomous
  • You are analytical, problem-solving as well as pragmatic
  • Your mother tongue is French and you are a minimum fluently in English
  • You have a commercial business understanding
  • The jobholder must be willing to continuously improve technical and functional knowledge
