My client is an international leader in minerals product for industry. Provides high value-added functional solutions for a wide range of industries, from construction and agriculture to consumer goods.

  • Provide technical support. Answering support queries either onsite or via phone or email
  • Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries
  • Take ownership of user problems from the ITSM ticketing tool
  • Implement, managing and maintaining workstations
  • Perform installations, upgrades & deployment of workstations to Microsoft Windows 10
  • Troubleshooting & Problem solving of Workstation related problems
  • Imaging and preparing assets such as laptops and mobile devices for deployment to users, ensuring assets are tagged and entered into the asset management system
  • Carrying out routine maintenance of IT systems
  • Support users in the use of Computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice
  • Local assistance for the L2/L3 System Administrators (Server, Network, Application, ERP)
  • Ensure Service Level Agrerement are adhered too
  • Local contact person for assistance in IT
  • Travels on sites located in Germany (15% to 20% of the time)
  • At least 3 years of experience in IT Support
  • English and German speaking
  • Microsoft advanced knowledge (workstations and servers)
  • Administration experience of MS Active Directory users & groups, policies and management concepts
  • Helpdesk Experience (ServiceNow)
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
