In order to sustain the increasing demand for full solutions (hardware, peripherals and software) in our diagnostic imaging segment, Barco healthcare is seeking to extend its activities around diagnostics system integration and validation. Therefore, we are looking for a System Automation engineer to join our team.
Function
In this role, you’ll be responsible for building & maintaining automated test infrastructure, definition, and execution of test programs, and continuously increasing test automation. You also give occasional assistance in case of field issues, reproduction, and root cause analysis.
Your Profile
  • You have a higher (technical) degree, ideally combined with a relevant work experience
  • You are familiar with toolchains and methodologies around test automation; configuration of systems and test infrastructure and know how to execute test cases & the associated reporting
  • You have good programming skills such as python, java(script)
  • You have good analytical skills (in support of root cause analysis and test coverage analysis)
  • You also have good communication skills (English)
  • Understanding display technologies, cloud native design & devops is a plus
  • You are a problem solver with a can-do attitude
