Job description

As a System Engineer, you will be involved in various activities that contribute to the successful execution of the projects. Depending on your level of experience, potential tasks may include:

• Participating in the analysis of system and test data to develop architecture products and system requirements.
• Generating documentation in UK English and effectively communicating with programme office personnel, stakeholders, and National Representatives during conferences and meetings.
• Maintaining project schedules and working with systems engineering tools to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate national contributions and C2 Systems for test event preparations.
• Leading or supporting all phases of operational tests for planned programs, including collaborative test planning, integration, execution, result analysis, and final reporting.
• Developing test objectives and requirements allocation, as well as creating and documenting detailed test plans and procedures.
• Troubleshooting system issues, monitoring performance, and implementing solutions to optimize system functionality.
• Implementing security protocols to protect system integrity and conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Mentoring junior and mid-level engineers or operations specialists through systems engineering activities and planned test events.

Profile

We will consider candidates with experience levels ranging from junior to senior, with the following requirements :

Experience - Education

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in an engineering or technical discipline from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience/combined education. Advanced degrees (Master’s or PhD) are preferred for senior roles.
• Junior candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in systems engineering or integration & testing.
• Medior candidates should possess 5-8 years of defense-related experience.
• Senior candidates should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in systems engineering, with a strong background in defense or related domains.

Language skills

• Proficiency in speaking, writing, and understandingEnglish

Technical / IT Skills

• Command and Control systems (C2)
• V-Model
• TOGAF/NAF/DoDAF
• Familiarity with Integration and testing

Soft skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
