We are hiring an experienced Sales Engineer to join our well established Benelux team. The Sales Engineer provides guidance in the use of InterSystems’ products as they best suit the objectives and requirements of prospects, customers and their markets. This requires broad knowledge of IT Industry issues and trends within a specific vertical market and technical knowledge in Integration, Interoperability and Analytics.Deep technical knowledge, extensive data base experience, strong customer facing skills, business acumen and the ability to drive projects forward are all essential requirements.

InterSystems is constantly growing, focusing on future growth by providing value-add to customers’ existing solutions and services. The Sales Engineer will build and demonstrate Proofs of Concept (PoCs) for prospects and partners to illustrate the suitability, ease of use, performance, reliability and interoperability capabilities of InterSystems platforms and solutions. The role is wide-ranging and challenging, requiring a mixture of technical architecture, solution-design skills and hands-on coding.

This role requires at least 5 years programming experience with proven expertise in languages such as C, Java, Python, SQL or similar analytical query and machine learning scripting. Confident presentation skills fluent Dutch, French and English language and the ability to travel regularly across Belgium, the Netherlands and to the Vilvoorde office are all essential for this role.

If you have technical experience in Healthcare, Manufacturing, IoT, Financial Services, or Retail and Logistics, combined with a passion for creative problem solving and modern technology such as AI and Machine Learning, we would love to hear from you. Experience dealing with C level executives and an understanding of issues being addressed by the healthcare sector are required.
