The role

The Technical Product Manager manages the nanoGrid product/service roadmap, writes and manages the functional specifications for the products/services. analyzes and implements business processes and operational processes in the nanoGrid FileMaker environment.

You report directly to the COO.

Your challenges

• Detailed writing of functional specifications for the products and services. Writing down user and features stories for the necessary functionalities within the nanoGrid application. Designing wireframes for the application. Participate in technical analysis of features so that the development team has a good understanding of what is expected.
• Manage roadmap and release planning. Feature planning & documentation per release. Collaborate with the development team to create sprint planning per release.
• Manage maintenance process of product/modules. Developing and following up a maintenance process for certain services/ features/ modules. Analyzing/ proposing phase out of services/modules where necessary.
• Analysis of the competition, the market and customer needs. Collaborate with sales to start and repeat customer surveys regularly in order to further fine-tune the feature set.
• 3rd line support for functional application issues. Investigating functional problems in the application reported by users so that an improvement can be developed.

Your talent

• You have at least 5 years of experience as a product manager, product owner or functional analyst within a software environment.
• Experience with JIRA, Docker, Git, Agile.
• Proficient in Dutch and English.
• Not a must but nice to have’s: experience with wireframes en UX, development experience in PHP/ Python/ Javascript/ timeseries
• You are driven, dynamic and flexible and you show big deal of ownership. You are striving to find a solution when meeting an obstacle and you adapt to different circumstances.
• You dare to ask questions and you want to share your knowledge with us.
• You can work independently within a given framework but you also enjoy teamwork
• You communicate openly and clearly.
• You feel closely involved with energy / environment topics.
