Our team in Herentals is expanding, and we are looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Engineer to join us!

Position Overview:

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving our sales growth by leveraging your technical expertise and customer-focused approach. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide technical solutions, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Your background in electromechanical, mechanical, or industrial engineering will be essential in helping you develop strong relationships with our clients and deliver tailored solutions that meet their specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Understand client needs and provide technical solutions and recommendations.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Provide after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the product development team to provide feedback on market trends and customer needs.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and expand the customer base.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and network with potential clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a sales engineering role, preferably in a technical or industrial environment.
  • Strong technical background and understanding of electromechanical, mechanical, or industrial systems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within Belgium as required.
