Job Summary:
Orchestration and Automation is a key strategic topic for CSPs. We are helping CSPs build the Control cockpit for next generation digital networks. If you are passionate about orchestration and digitalisation of the Telecom networks, then we would like to talk to you.
We are now looking for a Technical Solution Sales Support to support the Europe and Latin America OSS organization with product and solution expertise on different levels in solution architecture, and sales support of customer engagements.
The right candidate will work with and support Ericsson KAM organizations and various country units with product and solution expertise on different levels in pre-sales projects. The candidate will position Ericsson as a thought and technology leader with customers and work in a consultative manner with the customers to create market solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Extensive professional experience in roles which require qualified knowledge. Leadership experience, either as a functional or people manager.
- You will position Ericsson as technology leader, communicate and discuss Ericsson’s technology strategy and vision with customer CTO/CIO and direct reports
- Provide sales support for specific deals, propose solutions covering business requirements and present to Accounts and Customers
- Participate and Contribute to the account CTO/CIO network meetings and community to relate with other customers vision & strategy.
- Evaluate Ericsson’s current strategy and (product) plans vis à vis customer’s strategic plans, and bring forward to Ericsson solution gaps
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, ensure the customer vision & strategy including implications on Ericsson’s technology and solutions is communicated to the ones in need at Business Units, Group Function and Ericsson Research.
- Participate in MELA strategic initiatives, contribute towards strategy, best practices and competitor intelligence.
Key Qualifications:
- Requires business understanding and specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise within own area. Expert on several products, processes or services.
- Acts either as a broad generalist or deep expert, or is responsible for leading an area of expertise with strategic importance. Subject to a low level of control and review on non-routine assignments.
- Solves unique problems with broad impact on the business, implements short- and mid-term strategies and provides input to functional strategy and/or develops strategy for project execution.
- Manages customer contacts on executive levels.
- Substantial in-field experience from sales/solutions at Ericsson or equivalent
- Domain experience: OSS - particularly Orchestration and Automation inc. Resource and Service Orchestration
- Domain experience: End to end orchestrated use cases - Network Slicing, Network as a Platform, Orchestrated SDWAN
- Domain experience: Good to have - Assurance, Service design, Service Order Management, Transport Orchestration
- A good understanding of common Telecom technologies inc. TMF, 5G, cloud native, CNCF, ETSI-MANO, ONAP
- Experience from working in the field with customers and leading discussions with CXO level
