We are hiring a Technology Expert in the context of DATA & BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE for our prestigious partner DIGIT TM (DG Informatics) in Brussels. DIGIT-TM is a contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe.

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS
The service will focus on assistance with the organisation, the management and the follow-up of CORDA-related development activities.

The following tasks are foreseen:
 Design and development of online analytical data processing (OLAP);
 Design, test and implementation of ETL processes;
 Design and development of integrated data quality processes through the ETL process;
 Data analysis and data modelling;
 DB design & performance analysis;
 Design and development of reporting applications;
 Architecture and design of Information System Architecture;
 Participation in meetings with the project teams;
 Assistance in the testing, the technical documentation, the deployment, the evaluation and the reporting.
Depending on the circumstances, the expert may be requested to provide assistance or
support in the resolution of production issues.

Knowledge and skills
 Business intelligence technologies, including ETL, online analytical data processing, data analytics, record linkage , big data, structure and unstructured data,…;
 Data quality and data control technics;
 Relational database systems applied to data warehouse;
 Data warehouse architecture;
 Data and processes modelling tools;
 SQL;
 Object Oriented programming;
 Strong analysis skills;
 Self-starting capability and experience in team working.

Specific expertise
 Strong expertise in ETL;
 Strong expertise in data warehouse and big data (structure and unstructured data);
 Strong expertise with Object Oriented programming, and/or Python would be an asset;
 Expertise with git and version control would be an asset;
 Expertise with migration of data infrastructure to cloud (AWS, Azure) would be an asset;
 Expertise with windows server application maintenance and microsoft IIS would be an asset;
 API expertise would be an asset;
 Capacity in preparing and writing clear and structured technical and user documents;
 Ability to apply high quality standards;
 Good communication and team spirit skills;
 Capability of working in an international/ multicultural environment;
 Ability to work in English
