As a Tender Engineer, you will play a key role in the preparation and submission of tender proposals. Join our team at DEME and leverage your expertise to secure groundbreaking dredging and rockworks projects worldwide.
Your responsibilities:
- You will play a key role in the preparation and submission of tender proposals to our clients in order to win DEME’s global dredging & rockworks projects.
- Analyze tender documentation received from potential clients and work on method selection, cost calculations and risk assessments
- Perform cost engineering to optimize the proposal based on costs, risks, method, planning, and sequencing.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments and, as necessary, external stakeholders such as subcontractors, suppliers, and partners.
- Prepare comprehensive reports tailored for both internal review and external approval.
Your profile:
- Possess a relevant Master’s or Bachelor’s degree.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills, with an acute attention to detail and organizational prowess.
- Exhibit proactive planning abilities, efficiently managing your own workload.
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
- Show keen interest in marine environments and large-scale projects, particularly those involving dredging or rockworks.
- Enjoy working collaboratively within a dynamic team.
- Thrive in fast-paced environments with strict deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Display a flexible attitude, with openness to occasional international assignments for meetings and site visits.
