The Role

We’re looking for a Software QA Architect who can design and bootstrap our end-to-end test architecture across cloud and robotics. You will define the strategy, tooling, and workflows that make every release predictable and safe, from backend services and web apps to on-robot software and simulation. You turn ambiguity into a pragmatic test system that scales with the company, and you lay the foundations for a small QA team as we grow.

What you will do

You will design a test strategy that covers unit, integration, end-to-end, simulation, and field validation. You will select and implement the core toolchain for test automation and reporting in CI/CD. You will make quality measurable with clear gates, coverage, latency, and reliability metrics, and traceability from code to deployment. You will harden OTA update flows, telemetry, networking, and safety behaviors on the robot. You will document the process, coach engineers on quality practices, and raise the bar with fast feedback loops.

What you bring

You have experience architecting test systems in modern software environments such as cloud, edge, or IoT. You are fluent in CI/CD and test automation and comfortable working on Linux, containers, and real devices. You can balance rigor with startup speed, and you enjoy building the first version, measuring, and improving. Curiosity for robotics and AI is a plus.
