To further sustain and accelerate our growth we are looking for a Medior/Senior Test Automation Engineer.


As an Test Automation Engineer, you play a key role in crafting software to test our cloud-based IoT platform. You will automate our tests and create the test cases that validate our software.


Our services provide a unique challenge when it comes to test automation: we run software on an edge device, connected to a variety of local hardware (EV chargers, solar panels, energy meters, etc) and on our cloud back-end with a UI and App’s. Designing and implementing a reliable and efficient test automation framework for such a solution will be one of the most interesting challenges of your career.


This position is to automate the testing of Common platform Services that are use by other Cloud applications and Mobile apps (Login, Email service, Notification Service, …). You will create and automate Playwright E2E tests on new cloud services, as well as verify and automate tests for backend services.

This will include an amount of manual testing to validate new features. You have strong organizational and communication skills to enhance team efficiency and support in achieving project milestones.


This is a full-time position in our office in Hasselt (Belgium). We offer a hybrid model of working two days at the office, and three days from home. The focus of this role is on software quality assurance, not on product development.

Your profile:

  • A bachelor’s or master degree in informatics, computer science, industrial science or equivalent engineering.
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing), you’re a strong communicator that can coordinate with the development team and take ownership of the test automation topics.
  • You are organized, structured and have a systematic work approach.
  • You have a hands-on attitude and a passion for quality.
  • You can work autonomously and take initiative to propose solutions.


Technical skills:

  • You have a software development or automation testing background.
  • Experience in playwright or cypress.
  • Experience in Software testing and automating those tests.
  • Experience in API testing.
  • Experience in test automation of applications.
  • Experience with modern cloud-based development and operation environments (Azure) is a Plus.
  • Experience with python/Java/C#/docker / raspberry pi is a plus.
  • ISTQB certification is a plus.
