We are looking for a Test Engineer to ensure quality through comprehensive test strategy development, detailed test case creation, execution, and clear reporting.

Location: Brussels, hybrid

Responsibilities

  • Provide effort estimations and planning of the test activities
  • Elaborate on a test strategy
  • Collaborate with functional analysts and developers in defining requirements and designs
  • Preparation of test conditions
  • Execution of test conditions and reporting of issues
  • Automation of specific test conditions
  • Develop and execute sprint-specific test cases, ensuring timely feedback within the agile development cycle

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in testing
  • Fluent in English and French or Dutch
  • Ability to define comprehensive testing approaches, including test type selection (regression, E2E, etc.), automation strategy, and clear test scenario/case creation.
  • Strong development skills for building robust, maintainable, and scalable automation test suites.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze logs, perform API testing, execute database queries, and utilize relevant testing tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills to identify, report, and troubleshoot software defects effectively.
  • Ability to clearly communicate testing strategies and provide effective guidance to backup testers.
