At the Brussels office, our work focuses mainly on two strands of work:

• Large scale multiple country public opinion surveys, the best example being the standard Eurobarometer.
• Policy and behavioural research (quantitative and qualitative), policy evaluation for European and international organisations to inform their policy making.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

As a trainee you will be involved in the full life cycle of quantitative and qualitative research, from design to data control and reporting.

Besides this you’ll be:

• Collaborating in project management of large-scale research studies
• Conducting research using varied methodologies and drafting reports
• Working closely with other team members and external providers on a variety of tasks and ensuring successful delivery of projects
• Day to day client contacts and attending meetings

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a graduate with a curious and analytical mindset and who is interested in social and political research issues. You have solid knowledge of different research methods and a university degree. Ideally you have experience with SPSS or other research softwares (but not a requirement). You have the ability to work both as part of a team as well as using your own initiative, depending on the demands of the situation, besides that you have:

• Fluency in English, French is an asset
• High level of interpersonal and communication skills
• A dynamic personality and are well-organized and able to multitask

We offer 4 positions for interesting traineeships in an inspiring, international and informal working environment within a leading organization, with a possibility of a permanent role afterwards. A role in which you take responsibility and have plenty of room to develop your own initiatives. You will join a young and international team in an office in the heart of Brussels.

We also offer competitive pay for the traineeship contract (1300€/month + meal vouchers).
