The purpose of this new, exciting role is to drive and coordinate the successful deployment of a low carbon network for our long-haul heavy-duty Fleet customers in Europe.
The implementation lead Europe is accountable for coordinating the end-to-end implementation of the European truck decarbonisation programme.
The implementation lead works in a diverse team of cluster specific implementation managers and one Fleet product Manager. The team is located across all four European clusters in which bp operates (Central Europe, Southern Europe, Germany and UK). The Implementation lead coordinates the team in an agile way, supports the delivery of milestones and raises concerns or required support to eliminate roadblocks.
Your tasks:
- Coordinates the European deployment of truck decarbonisation network by closely aligning with the Cluster specific implementation managers and the Fleet Product Manager
- Leads the development of European standards with specific SMEs
- Supports the European low carbon network planning forum and CoE to set up the right design, customer offer and operating model for the truck decarbonisation network
- Feeds back learnings and best practise of the proof of concept to the European low carbon network planning forum
- Works closely with the Fleet Product Manager and the I&E Delivery led to ensure a timely and smooth implementation of the agreed roadmap to enable acceptance agreements across Europe
- Coordinate and aligns among C&P’s various business and functions and beyond (RC&S, Finance, GBSE, T&S); organises and facilitates monthly engagement sessions
- Prepares and facilitates the Integrated governance board sessions and engagement of senior stakeholders – stipulates and prepares decisions and ensures the implementation team has the right support to deliver the programme as per agreed timelines and within budget
- Ensures robust End2End processes across site operations and support functions; ensuring bp fuel card acceptance and silent running post go Live
- Responsible to prepare and input into relevant Financial Documents (and gain required funds and support to execute project as per agreed timeline
- Responsible for overall performance reporting (budget, cost, sales and KPIs) & M&C OKR reporting, pulling together the cluster specific information on a European level
- Is the focal point for supply and helps to set up the right supply chain, quality assurance process and secondary transport system; ensures the cluster specific implementation leads are connected to the work of the supply squad when needed
Job Advert
- University degree required; Master’s degree in business administration or engineering preferred
- Written and oral fluency in English and another European language is of advantage
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, particularly in diverse and international multi-disciplined teams and the ability to work with senior executive level
- Ability to energize others to support delivery objectives
- Resilient and able to adapt and remain motivated when faced with ambiguity
- Strong ability to build networks and to enhance effectiveness and share knowledge
- Experience working on projects at various stages of development, including feasibility and concept selection
- Exposure to project financing, including preparation of financial modelling
- Ability to challenge conventional methods of working, examine multiple options to take on innovative and new solutions
- Ability to manage multiple/conflicting priorities with a strong track record of delivery
- Proven coordination experience, with demonstrated capability leading cross and multi-disciplined teams
- Experience in the energy industry in either an engineering, commercial or consulting role
