AIG Operations has an exciting opportunity to join the Underwriting support team and assist the underwriters.
About the role
Your contribution at AIG:
You will contribute to the growth and profitability of AIG AESA unit by providing administration support to specific Lines of Business in Europe (mainly A&H), assisting the UW community. You will serve both internal & external customers by completing administrative tasks mainly for A&H underwriters; responding to customer requests; resolving complaints & maintaining data quality in systems. Consistently meet service levels and performance targets in terms of volume, accuracy and quality.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Partner with underwriters and Shared Services Centers (SSC) partners for end-to-end processing of new, renewal business as well as endorsementsParticipate in pre-binding activities.
- Liaising with brokers/clients, gather information necessary to prepare quotes (either for new submissions or renewals) and update raters when deemed necessaryPrepare the referral documentationIssue quotes upon receiving instructions from the UnderwriterCapture information/documents – Transaction file management
- Update bind subjectivitiesUpdate rater/systems when deemed necessaryPolicy booking and issuance:
- Ensure quality and timeliness of issuing & booking instructions and follow-up on outstanding policies before hand-off to SSC operations, Support preparation of Binder/slip, policy, and endorsement for the SSC to issue
- Handles Finance queriesSupport their effort to recover unpaid premium
- Set-up systems and underwriting platformsProvide technical direction to underwriting on workflow management tools: research & resolve processing problems in workflow management toolsAssist w. data/portfolio managementAssist with Data Integrity together with underwritingSupport UW projects on an ad-hoc basis
- Support the completion and binding of raters in a timely mannerSupport UW with reviewing outstanding quotes and ensuring timeliness of booking instructions, during Audit preparation and with addressing complaints
