Who we are looking for
In order to strengthen the Business Unit Intensive Livestock of our Animal Health Benelux entity, we are looking for a Veterinary Science Liaison Swine (VSL).
Reporting to the Veterinary Science Lead Intensive Livestock Benelux, the VSL’s main task is to support veterinary practices by providing tailor made solutions for complex respiratory, intestinal and reproductive disorders in swine
production as well as providing support on farm management. Your main working area is Flanders.
Your responsibilities
Supporting veterinarians, their customers and all other stakeholders in the (Belgian) swine industry.
You look for health solutions within our swine product portfolio and beyond if needed.
Assist the team to develop (diagnostic) services and tools and provide technical support in the field. You are the first point of contact for (external) laboratories.
You keep your technical knowledge up to date and you share your insights with our team and our customers.
You assist our marketing team by providing input on all technical and scientific information we publish.
Writing and publishing scientific articles.
You provide pharmacovigilance support.
You
Are a veterinarian with at least 10 years of practical experience in Swine.
Have a high level of diplomacy, negotiating skills and constructive assertiveness.
Are a team player with excellent communication skills and a high level of responsibility.
Enjoy presenting in front of a group and have developed scientific writing skills.
Are a flexible and organized problem-solver.
Have an attitude to and preparedness for a continuous education.
Should have a good command of Dutch and English
