The Virtual Account manager is a remote sales rep fully accountable for E2E sales process. Except physical location, this role is equivalent to a Field Sales Rep. The role is designed to enhance the overall customer experience with a technology enabled, innovative virtual selling capability.

The Virtual Account Manager will specifically be assigned responsibility for increasing penetration at our existing customers. They are part of the overall Sales team in their region and work closely with the other teams involved in the sales process, e.g., FAS, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Nurture leads and client relationships
Cultivate strong customer loyalty and build long-term relationships
Promote assigned product portfolio (incl. cross-selling) remotely using all available technology
Ensure (repeat) orders by understanding the process and patterns of customer purchase decisions

Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews with customers

Understand customer’s processes and identify opportunities and customer priorities
Lead price and contract negotiations
Deliver ongoing product servicing by providing accurate product information, trainings & support where needed
Maintain accurate CRM customer data and documentation of contacts, orders, requests, etc.
Utilize all available sales tools to maximize sales efficiency (i.e. Salesforce)
Lead generate and work with Field BioA teams and Product specialists in order to provide customers

Qualifications and Requirements:

Professional or educational background in scientific field (e.g., Life Science, Biology or similar) & ideally sales experience in Life Science industry
Fluency in local language & English
Experience in sales process, including opportunity qualification, pre-call planning and time management
Strong analytical skills and ability to acquire expertise
Strong understanding capabilities, collaboration potential, innovation capabilities, and achievement drive
Consultative interaction skills with customers, prospective customers, and fellow employees
Strong negotiation skills and ability to independently close deals with customers
Strong presentation / communication skills over phone & VC
Strong identification with core values: sustainability, openness, enjoyment
