Warehouse Deputy Supervisor - Brussels

Our Operations Department provides operational support to our riders & everyone on shift in the warehouse, and to undertake all scheduled operational duties as required. The Ops teams focus on the very core of our business which is responsible for our 10 minute deliveries. This role will provide significant operational knowledge and in-depth knowledge to the local teams to ensure successful performance and excelled customer and client experience in the final mile.

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day customer relation (incl. calling customers for missing / substitute products)
• Lead, develop and motivate the warehouse team in a healthy and happy work environment (Riders)
• Report required HR documentation for payroll and disciplinary follow-up, for riders
• Support supervisor with performance reviews (Riders)
• Be the guardian of compliance in the WH for riders (helmet, mask, proper (black) clothing, ... )
• Responsible for escalation of needs regarding Rider Ops / Central (e.g. equipment and bike repair)
• Constantly ensure and assign equipment and charged bikes during shift
• Manage order dispatch at the Pick & Pack table (correct stacking & order distribution between Riders)

Requirements

Your Profile:

• Previous experience in a similar environment (FMCG/Retail experience is a big plus)
• Strong operations management skills
• Hands-on mentality
• Good communication skills and proficiency in both written and spoken English (French/Dutch is a big plus)
• Previous experience in bike delivery a plus
• An ability to work and engage with a team of delivery personnel
