As a Business Controller reporting directly to the IT EPMO Director, you will be at the forefront of financial strategy and performance for mateco IT. Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Monthly Reporting: Analyze & report on variances versus budget and prior periods.
• Ad‑hoc Forecasting: Provide timely financial forecasts aligned with yearly budgets.
• Quarterly Cross-Charging: Maintain and apply cost allocation keys to our operational company’s.
• Annual Budgeting: Support budgeting for IT services, including rationale defense.
• FTE & HC Planning: Control people costs across internal, external, and managed services in collaboration with PMO.
• Multi-Year Planning: Drive 10-year financial modeling using Excel-based simulations.
• AP Oversight: Supervise PO management and IT vendor invoice processing.
• Cost & TCO Initiatives: Aggregate disparate financial data and support cost-saving measures.
• Continuous Improvement: Refine processes (Excel & Dynamics 365 FO key‑user role).
• License Asset Coordination: Expand the role to manage application licensing if desired.
• Ad-hoc Duties: Tackle additional tasks amidst dynamic IT finance operations.

We seek a proactive and detail-oriented professional who embodies the following qualifications:

• Educational Background: Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: 3–5 years in business controlling; experience in auditing is a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations; advanced Excel skills are essential.
• Analytical & Communication Skills: Ability to synthesize complex data, present findings effectively, and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Personal Attributes: Hands-on approach, team player mentality, quick learner, and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Dutch or French is advantageous.
