Web Infrastructure Architect

Omschrijving:

IT Middleware Web Hosting has the mission to provide infrastructure service in order to host Web and Secure applications. The service provided by the team cover architecture, industrialization of web infrastructure assets, production support and support to the support to the security and application integration team.

Working in IT Web Design, acting as squad Web Architect.

Support (selected) projects with Web and Security architecture expertise and specific deliverables in order to define and apply the best architecture choices, which fit business purposes.
Ensure the compliance of other architectures with the solution architectures:
Responsibility of GF-EAD and DTD (Detailed Technical Design) documents in projects;
Monitoring DTD and educate engineers to keep it up to date
Interact with the development team in order to validate the DTD.
Assist all participants in understanding of Architectural documents
Contribution to promote orderly approaches in the projects and in smaller requests: give guidance to all his counterparts.
Contributes to the definition and maintenance of reference architectures.
Use his knowledge of the business needs, of the project needs and of the context of existing infrastructure assets (Life Cycle, technology, market evolutions, overlap with other assets, …) in order to:
Promote and communicate architectural references (reference architectures, standards, ADSS).
Give feedback to domains and Lead Architects regarding usability, completeness and global quality of their reference architectures.
Bring his end-to-end view of the solutions and his technical expertise when needed, in collaboration with other experts.
Detect savings opportunities and propose adequate and realistic actions.
Detect decommissioning opportunities and propose adequate and realistic actions.
Detect and communicate improvements to the newly established processes and procedures.

Master or equivalent by experience.

e.g. Prince2, TOGAF, ITIL, ADKAR, … N/A if none required

At least 5 years of relevant experience.

Experience in WebSphere infrastructure architecture in enterprise environments, have a broad knowledge on following assets: Web Application Hosting (WebSphere, Tomcat and IIS), Web Security (ISAM, WAF, API GW, HSM)
Experience in cloud environments.

Solid technical background in at least two for our assets

Able to understand bank related business processes and assess impacts on business, ITIL methodology
