MISSION

The Operator is responsible for operating the winding machine in the workshop, to secure the winding of the composite pressure vessel as planned by the engineers.
The operator prepares and executes the work related to the manufacturing and assembly of of prototypes for research and development projects relative to high pressure hydrogen storage systems.

RESPONSABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

Responsibilities:
  • Produces the prototypes within the agreed timeframe and at the requested quality level.
  • Executes the proposed process investigation programs in collaboration with the engineers, analyses and documents the results, proposes improvements.
  • Analyses the work requests and prepares all materials, equipment and tools to execute them.

Activities:
  • Execute all operations to manufacture the prototypes or perform the process investigations.
  • Analyze the work requests and give all necessary feedback to the requesters in order to ease the execution of the work requests.
  • Use dedicated prototype equipment and proposes improvements.
  • Propose and manages the maintenance operations of dedicated prototype equipment.
  • Report all facts allowing improvement of the work quality and the team spirit.
  • Document all prototype and process activities as agreed with the requester.
  • Execute all security rules.
  • Contact suppliers for machine or prototyping troubleshooting.

PROFILE REQUIERMENTS

Personal Background

  • bachelor degree automotive or any relevant studies to the industry
  • strong teamplayer
  • working with an eye to detail and keeping safety top of mind
  • being able to understand technical plans and instructions
  • adapt quickly to changing circumstances
  • have at least a first work experience

Skills and competences

  • willing to work alternating shifts
  • being fluent in English
  • be able to set up devices and track faults
  • be strong communicators
