Our Client is a leading life insurance-based wealth solutions provider with over 25 years’ experience. They have the strength and expertise to provide wealth structuring solutions using unit-linked life insurance to ultra-high net worth individuals, their families and institutions around the globe.
Global assets under administration are in excess of €44.9bn ($51.0bn) as of 30 June 2019. Our global team of over 500 includes more than 60 technical experts and over 100 client services professionals specializing in multiple jurisdictions.
For the Belgian Branch we are looking for an Account Specialist for the Partner & Client Services Department.
FUNCTION INFORMATION
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the person of contact for any partner and client queries received by email, fax, post or by telephone;
- Take the necessary action to respond in an effective, professional and timely manner to the queries received by
- telephone, email or post from several partners, clients or sales colleagues consistently ensuring a high level of service;
- Perform accurate and timely processing of policy transactions, servicing and query resolution during the life cycle of a policy, including document management;
- Assist in processing the due diligence review of transactions in line with corporate standards;
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with our sales consultants and all partners;
- Maintain an ongoing awareness of services, review procedures and ensure quality improvements are made as required.
Daily operations:
- Onboarding of new business (including first line AML/KYC);
- Treatment of policy servicing (ongoing transactions);
- Primary contact between custodian banks and asset managers regarding accounts;
- Primary contact for client and partner queries;
- Liaison between Head Office and the Branch;
- General office administration (in collaboration with Head Office facilities);
- Quarterly reporting on operations.
Additional responsibilities (ad hoc):
- Participation to marketing of Branch activities;
- Participation to client / partner meetings (depending on availability);
- Branch-specific billing management;
- Reporting to the authorities (NBB-FSMA);
- Update Branch procedures;
- Follow-up on specific projects related to the branch.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years relevant experience in a similar role gained within the financial/insurance sector;
- Excellent communication skills: being able to build effective relationships and adapt communication style to the counterpart, always in a professional manner;
- Ability to listen to other opinions as well as being confident of your own and find balanced solutions;
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- A mature person capable of working independently and able to demonstrate a high level of initiative and problem solving capabilities;
- Possess drive, influential and persuasive skills as well as the ability to achieve results through working in a logical and systematic manner;
- Flexible and adaptable you will enjoy challenging situations in a changing environment;
- Native/Fluent in Flemish, French and English.
