In Honeywell Thermal Solutions (HTS) we provide complete industrial burner systems to numerous different industries all over the world.

Within the Vilvoorde engineering and production site of HTS we are looking for an Advanced Project Manager.

Position Summary:
This position will be responsible and the main point of contact for the all aspects of our larger turnkey projects involving gas burner systems and other thermal solutions, from sales proposal stage to the final commissioning stage. The Senior Project Manager will be part of an international engineering team reporting to the Leader of the Mechanical Engineering Team.

Tasks

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide technical, manufacturing, project management interface to ETO projects during the project development, execution, and post-shipment phases with the local production facilities and 3rd party fabricators.· Assume overall projects’ responsibility for assigned projects executed out of the Vilvoorde office. Responsible to meet/exceed KPI targets including operating income %, and OTTR (on-time deliveries).· Manage coordination & completion of back-end engineering and design work from the Global Engineering Centers in India and China.· Manage resolution of day-to-day technical, commercial, financial, and project engineering issues with internal ISC/pr activities, and 3rd Party Fabricators and subcontractors.· Lead (as needed) review of project specifications and requirements during the project development phase prior to the successful sale of a project.· Identify potential commercial, technical, and/or logistical issues and develop alternative action plans to maintain cost, schedule, quality, and safety expectations for assigned projects.

Requirements

Position Requirements:
Education: Master’s Degree in Engineering focused on mechanical disciplines. Or a Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.Skills: · Minimum of 10 years of experience in the engineering, design, and project management of delivered equipment or equipment systems (skid systems) in the process industries is required.· Minimum 5 years of project engineering experience is required.· Strong leadership, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills are required. Periodic management level reporting of assigned projects status.· Strong technical affinity is a must.· Strong business acumen is required.· Strong familiarity with project scheduling is required.· Ability to work well in a team environment is required· Must be proactive, results oriented, growth and customer focused.· Knowledge or affinity with electrical engineering of industrial machinery is a plus· Experience with combustion systems and heat transfer equipment is a plus.· Proficiency with MS Office applications are required. Working knowledge of SAP BRP system, Inventor, and Vault software is a plus.· Experience with CAD is required, preferably AutoCad Inventor or SolidEdge/SolidWorks,· Knowledge on design engineering regulations in industrial gas burner applications or the capability to develop this in short period.

• Languages: Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of the country’s languages: Dutch, German or French is an asset.
• The ability to travel up to 25% annually to fabrication shops, customer offices, detailed engineering offices, and customer sites can be required dependent of project related need.
