Your role

As a Cloud Engineer, you must be able to work effectively on a large spectrum of activities: identify, manage, implement, maintain, support, improve and secure our Cloud infrastructure (mainly based on Microsoft Azure and 365) and our business supportive solutions. You work in close collaboration with our Business Leaders and our clients.

Your main missions:
Develop strategies and roadmaps for improvements for our cloud environments
Ensure the performance and security of our cloud infrastructure and solutions
Manage and deliver internal cloud projects from the initial planning phase to successful deployment
Assist clients on specific projects to implement and secure their cloud environment

Your profile

We are looking for a dynamic, hands-on, polyvalent and pragmatic Cloud Engineer who is able to work in a team and do things by himself/herself.

Required qualifications:
Master’s degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering or equivalent experience
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in design and implementation of a Microsoft cloud environment
Strong security acumen, "risk-based thinking", security awareness
Expertise in software development, network, IT operations, scalability, security and disaster recovery

Experience with the following technologies are required:
End user support: win10 / Mac OS, Office 365, Sharepoint, LAN-WLAN, Printing
Infra: ESX, VMWare, Windows Server, Linux, router L2/L3 (Cisco), Wifi
Cloud: MS Azure, SaaS (O365, Sharepoint, CRM, ..)
Active Directory: federated Id’s, ADFS, GPO’s, UAM (lync Azure)
Security: FW, AV, Microsoft Security and management tools (i.e. SCCM, SCOM, ..)
Microsoft Azure Certifications
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a very dynamic and time-sensitive work environment
Autonomous and proactive, customer-oriented, result-oriented
Ability to understand and solve technical issues at a detailed level
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in English and French is required / Dutch is a plus

Considered as a plus:
IT products, network, systems certifications

Knowledge of:
Dev environments (.NET, JAVA, ...: not developer, only managing the environment)
DB: Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL
Reverse proxies
Web Application Firewalls
Mobile devices iOS and Android
Service mgt: ITIL foundation (+ JIRA or other)
