Position: Payments Business Analyst

Job Overview

This role supports the instant payments initiative within the financial services industry, specifically focusing on regulatory compliance for instant payments. The candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to align backend processes and ensure smooth integration of bulk payment channels with the Instant Payments engine.

Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Organize and prepare meetings/workshops involving impacted business lines (such as local Cash Management, operations, and group functions), including agenda setting and minute-taking.
  • Requirements Translation: Convert business needs into clear functional requirements for IT and OPS teams.
  • Project Collaboration: Coordinate activities related to gap analysis, testing, and issue resolution with the relevant squad and payments teams.

Qualifications:

Language Skills

  • Dutch: Preferred
  • French: Strong written and spoken communication
  • English: Strong written and spoken communication

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience in SEPA/Instant payments analysis, regulatory projects, or related fields.

Experience

  • Essential: At least 5 years in business analysis or a similar role, with experience in conceptual modeling, MS Office, and IS/testing methodologies.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Agile methodology and a sound understanding of instant payments processing.
