We carefully monitor the energy consumption of IT equipment, optimise fibre-optic connections or develop entire data centres and networks. To safeguard our strategy and support us in our growth, we are looking for reinforcement in the field. The heart of our company is in Wauthier-Braine, from where we serve our customers in Belgium, Luxembourg and France.

The tasks of a Business Development Manager

A Business Development Manager takes care of an entire region. In your case, this is Flanders and Brussels. Your goal is to drive business for your region to unprecedented heights. You do this by carefully prospecting and seizing opportunities with both hands.

You also build relationships with existing customers and make sure they are 100% satisfied. Your clientele is very diverse and mainly consists of decision-makers in the business world, but you will also have regular contact with IT professionals and technicians. If the project requires it, you will also coordinate the work of third parties.

As soon as you get hold of a new lead, you will arrange the necessary appointments and meetings, analyse the potential customer’s needs, prepare a tailor-made quotation and ensure successful conversion to an order. You will have access to your colleagues in the technical department and your direct supervisor, the Commercial Director of ANS, at every step of the process.

Who are you?

You are results-oriented and focused on your goal. Your commercial flair enables you to perfectly convey the value of ANS to customers and prospects. You do not shy away from challenges and are passionate about data centres and computer networks.

You ideally have a bachelor’s degree and preferably 5 years of experience in selling network, telecom or ICT products or services. Thanks to your experience, you have already gained a lot of technical knowledge. Given that technology in the IT sector never stands still for a second, you always keep your finger on the pulse of new trends and are prepared to undergo regular training.

As your region is Flanders, you have a good command of the Dutch language. If you understand, speak and write English and French, you certainly have an advantage.
