Job Mission

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will join the Customer Dialogue and Channel Integration (CDCI) department. CDCI is recognized for its strong expertise and its direct impact on the bank’s activity.

The team is located at the crossroads of advisory and investment activities, marketing, and customer interactions. Our main mission is indeed to manage the contact strategy in an omnichannel framework.

To do this, we combine the richness of our data warehouse, the power of our analytical tools and the unique expertise of our analysts.

Key Accountabilities

Within the department you will come to reinforce the Business Intelligence (BI) team which is formally in charge of:

- the integration of data within our DWH

- the monitoring of activity and commercial performance

- provide the necessary support for strategic and tactical follow-up

- provide flexible and efficient operational and regulatory support

Contact strategy coordination and Campaign management team: in charge of activating all campaigns and communication for our clients, while addressing the best contact opportunities to our advisors

In addition, the BI team works daily with more than 15 departments and agile Tribes of the bank to which it provides direct support.

The BI analyst will report into the BI head and will support:

  • DWH data integration and CDCI’s DataMart’s preparation
  • development, maintenance, and improvement of daily/weekly and monthly reports
  • management of ad-hoc analyses
  • the way back to front MIS solutions can be improved
  • operational solutions/processes using standard BI tools (SAS, SQL, Microsoft office, Python, R..)

Key Profile

Education and Experience:

  • You have a master’s degree in data-oriented education (business, statistics, informatics, …) or related field
  • Min. 2-3 years professional experience.
  • Experience in a similar position is a plus, while experience in the banking sector is a plus but not essential as we favor curiosity and intellectual flexibility.

Technical skills

  • Standard BI tools, especially SAS. Knowledge of Python and R is nice to have.
  • Expertise in data management (DWH, BI) is a must have.

Soft skills

  • Critical thinking skills and willingness to ask questions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at once and meet deadlines
  • Business acumen, able to understand business requirements (how a process works) and translate this into BI-requirements
  • Hands-on approach, flexible and pro-active
  • Able to work autonomously and in close cooperation with the team
  • Good communication skills, fluent in Dutch or French and English
