We are seeking a Business Process Owner in Belgium.

Your responsibilities

• Experience of managing complex environment, design and execute new processes.
• Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines/procedures and external regulatory requirements.
• Performing process analysis, reporting to business managers and making suggestions to improve performance, where appropriate.
• Establishing and overseeing the processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable internal control environment, ensuring high quality information in line with defined standards.
• Ensuring timely and efficient communication with relevant Controllers and Managers, the Accounting Center and other internal customers to identify and discuss issues, suggestions for improvement of operations, work quality and efficiency.
• Optimize performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, coordinating information requirements.
• Ensure processes and controls within own area of responsibility are designed and implemented in line with Group and unit requirements.
• Interface with different departments such as production, engineering, sales, project management.
• Supporting implementation of process and control design enhancements standardizing processes and controls to simplify and rationalizing the control environment, and to support the achievement of business objectives.
• Providing oversight to ensure operational management maintains an appropriate internal control environment.
• Driving to enhance the transparency, knowledge and maturity level in the business regarding risk and control and the recognition of the benefits, process understanding and the interfaces to other risk management activities.

Your background

• A degree as bachelor in IT/Finance (controlling).
• Sound experience in internal control or process analysis or continuous process improvement.
• IT minded, good communicator, fluent in English.
• Good insight in business processes & information flows.
