As Category development & Sales revenueMeals Belgium, you play a central role in category planning meals Belgium combining :

  • Sales net revenue management: you collect and combine different inputs to build most reliable IBP monthly datas together with CS&L. You identify risk and opps, steering business towards different targets (NR/ volume). You manage pricing tariffs.

Category management: you’re the category specialist and design, implementation and monitoring of the category management projects for all clients, in order to optimize the sale of this category and of MDLZ products.

How you will contribute

Sales net revenue management part:

  • You are responsible for the coordination, preparation and follow-up of our monthly business cycle(IBP consensus meetings);
  • You will combine sell in (ex factory) and sell out data (Nielsen), collect and report the risks&oppsfor your category on a regular basis;
  • You work intensively with the brand managers and demand planning to assess the impact of the different support plans and you play both the role of challenger and bridge builder;
  • You are the key person in building the ACfor the coming year
  • You presentIBP category results and forecast in Drumbeat and SLT.
  • You also play a key role in the Pricing Process, working out the right pricing implementation by sku and guaranteeing tariff lists are send in an accurate and timely way to the customers.

Category management part :

  • Manage & reco Sales fondamentals : shelf vision
  • You develop a category visionpresenting the ideal shelving and best visibility material (Multi-touchpoints, category-theatralization...) in order to optimize the visibility of our products.
  • Based on deep analysisof the category and Mondelez brands performance, you create a yearly category management plan for each client as part of the total customer plan. This is aligned with KAMs & field manager within Customer teams.
  • You build trade argusand Q&A so that Kams and field team can present and list new products.
  • You advise our clientson category management thanks to deep analysis of the category/ shelving/ assortment and make sure of the perfect execution of aligned action plan in order to meet client & Mondelez specific targets.
  • You advise our marketing colleagueson how to optimize their initiatives (eg pack design impact on shelves).
  • You follow up innovations- and perfect store KPI’s(Share of Shelf- Share of assortment, product presence, best shelves share…) and identify growth opportunities for the category and/ or corrective action plan.

You manage the budgetfor category projects optimizing return on investment. You know volume, financial & business objectives of the company.
