Our client is a Financial institution looking for a new Compliance Officer to support the Compliance Department in their belgian offices.

Job Description

Working along the Compliance team
Definition of the Compliance Risks and monitoring of their level
Assure the respect of regulations and the implementation of ethics rules
Generalist position: AML/KYC/CFT/Market Abuse/MiFID
Contact with the regulators (NBB)
Direct Support to the team
Consolidation, Harmonization and Implementation of Compliance Controls
Direct report to the Head of Compliance and possibility of team management in the futur

Your Profile:

Master Degree in Law is a must or equivalent experience
Your Compliance certification is a great plus
You have a relevant experience in the financial sector
You are autonomous and ready to jump into the function
You are aware of Details
You are Proactive and always thinking ahead
You are willing to take new challenges and you are not afraid to go out of your comfort zone
You are a Problem-solver with analytical skills
You are fluent in French and/or Dutch and excellent English professional skills
