For our Legal Department, we are looking for a Contracts Administrator (M/W/X) who works for the regions of Belgium & the Netherlands, and who will be based in Uccle, Brussels.

Daily Task And Responsibilities

  • Channel Contracts
    • You will populate metadata in CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management tool) for repository, archiving and reporting.
    • Contract Retrieval & Reports: you will run reports from CLM, retrieve contracts for business users and answer basic question (such as evaluating a contract and explaining contract terminology in simple, everyday language).
    • You will train users on CLM on ongoing basis.
    • You will take care of template annotation and update in CLM (under legal supervision).
  • Support to Channel Lawyer
    • You will support with basic routines associated with contract preparation & review, negotiation, extension, termination and other (under legal supervision).
    • You will help to monitor and follow up on contract progress (example: to ensure drafts and reviews are completed in a timely manner).
    • You will proofread, edit and fact-check legal documents for accuracy and consistency, according to a guidance provided by the Channel Lawyer
    • You will research and help with escalations for Legal SME input under CoA and policies.
  • Support to Control Functions: you will support in monitoring KICs associated with channel contract review and approval policy.
This is a support function which doesn’t include tasks such as making contract reviews, update templates, participate in negotiations and other, except under the supervision of an experienced lawyer.

The new joiner will have possibilities of evolution. With coaching and appropriate legal qualifications, you developed into a legal counsel role.

You are someone with…

  • Basic legal qualification in contract law. A Lew degree is a strong asset.
  • Excels in Communication: Has superior communication skills, with a knack for convincing and persuading clients effectively.
  • Language Proficiency: You are perfectly fluent in English, to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus.
  • Soft skills: detail oriented, organized, proactive, can multitask, positive mindset and ability to connect easily with different stakeholders.
  • Policy driven: you show clear adherence to policies in place
