key responsibilities
- Business and data-analyst within the Market & Customer Analysis team.
- Plays a role in close collaboration with other team members and internal stakeholders in translating business needs into hypotheses which can be verified by using client data being available.
- Having a good knowledge of the business context combined with a strong analytical mind.
- Being critical (i.e. being able to translate the research needs into relevant hypotheses, covering relevant data variables, being able to focus on what’s key in the outcome of the analysis).
- Being able to grasp the relevant data (knowing which data is required, which variables, format, data sources,...) and to transform and analyze it in order to support business in their existing needs or client-data related questions.
- Gather, transform and analyse rough data using sourcing techniques.
- Deliver business impact in order to improve customer approach.
- Deliver to the point stories in ppt with key conclusions & recommendations based on data.
qualifications
Language requirements
DutchFluent => mandatory
FrenchFluent => mandatory
EnglishFluent => mandatory
Education
You have a Master’s degree in economics or a Master’s degree in another academic background with substantial knowledge and experience in data and analytics in a business context.
Required experience / knowledge
You have at least 6 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics.
Technical experience
Mandatory
- Data analysis is part of your DNA. You will work in SAS EG and SQL to capture and transform the data.
- Very good knowledge of Excel.
- Your data analytics tools knowledge doesn’t impose any problems in setting up ad hoc queries, reports,...
- Being eager to get grip on the most relevant data, to understand it well and to analyze it in that way that it answers the business questions and relevant conclusions & recommendations can be set.
- Good knowledge of bank & insurance products and sector.
Preferable
- Good knowledge of Power BI or Tableau is an asset.
Business experience
MandatoryGood knowledge of bank & insurance products and sector.
