VeroTech is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer!

ABOUT

Are you interested in working in the IoT sector? We’re VeroTech, a Belgian engineering consultancy company specialized in R&D projects, currently looking for talented engineers in the Communicationindustry.

YOUR MISSION

  • Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and test embedded systems applications on gateways.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C language.
  • Employ knowledge of Linux software development to build and optimize applications for embedded platforms.
  • Work with Yocto, Buildroot, or other embedded build systems to create customized and scalable solutions.
  • Explore and implement container technologies to enhance the security and portability of applications.
  • Collaborate with networking experts to integrateTCP/IP and application layer protocols into the embedded systems.
  • Assist in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development and deployment process.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Minimum 3 years experience with embedded systems.
  • Good knowledge of C language, GCC, debugging and writing tests.
  • Proficient experience with Linux software development.
  • Knowledge of embedded build systems (Yocto, Buildroot, etc.).
  • Experience with container technologies (Docker, sandboxing, etc.).
  • Experience with networking and software security (TCP/IP, application layers).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and pipeline management.
