E2 Drivesis a young engineering company active in electric mobility. E2 Drives is specialised in mechanics, electronics, electric motor design and embedded control.

In recent years, they developed an innovative and disruptivepowertrainforelectric bikes. This patented technology offers comfort, robustness and performance to the cyclist thanks to its all-in-one and internalautomatic gearboxdesign.

E2 Drives mission is to revolutionise the way people are commuting, thanks to its disruptive eBike propulsion system. E2 Drives concluded a partnership withDecathlonand plans to become aebike motor leader in the five coming years.

E2 Drives has launched its first generation of motors in 2023 and is working on a second generation of motors to enlarge the eBike motor offer. The tech company is based in Wavre (a nice place in the South-East of Brussels) and can count on a team of 30 young, dynamic and smart professionals.

What will be your role?

You’ll join the software team of E2 Drives. You’ll be responsible for collecting and organizing the request made to the SW team by its client, including other technical teams within E2 Drives and E2 Drives customers.

You’ll be responsible for the quality of the software development process and its continuous improvement.

What will be your main tasks?

• Analyzing failed drive units that are returned by the customer in order to identify the root cause of the failure, and train the customer to identify the root cause.
• Help the customer in the development of a diagnostic framework for the after sale support.
• Help the customer for the integration of E2 Drives software tooling inside their infrastructure and tools.
• Develop SW tool for the flashing or debugging of the Drive Unit software.
• Evaluate the V-cycle process and propose improvements in order to increase the quality of the software.
• Develop tools to improve the software development process (e.g. continuous integration, unit tests, static analysis…).

What will make you successful?

• You are an Embedded Software Engineer or an Electrical Engineer.
• You have professional experience with embedded C code development.
• You have professional experience with V-cycle process and software quality assurance
• You have experience with python.
• You have experience with IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with cyber security concepts is a plus
• Familiarity with Linux is a plus.
• You are very motivated by the challenge of the project.
• You are fluent in English andFrench.
