In the coming 5 years, Daikin Europe will invest 840 million euros in research and development of new technologies. 4000 new jobs will be created across Europe to support this growth at Daikin.

As an employer branding specialist, your challenge will be to position Daikin as a top employer, in order to attract, engage, and hire the best candidates. You will be part of the Human Resources department and report directly to the HR Manager responsible for the Recruitment Cell.

Your role:

• To track external trends & media channels in order to define the ideal social media mix for Daikin Europe.

• To identify and highlight the key differentiators that set our company apart from the competition.

• Using your extensive social media skills to reach candidates and give them a sense of our employee experience.

• To define our employee value proposition in collaboration with colleagues, and use this to develop a sourcing strategy to attract all the top talent required at Daikin in the future.

• To develop, coordinate, and implement our employer branding action plan in line with the 5-year HR strategy (incl. company visits, job fairs, LinkedIn stories, social media actions, recruitment events, career pages on website…).

• To take initiatives to stimulate Daikin ambassadorship among our employees.

• Establishing metrics to monitor our current employer branding position on the labour market and demonstrate the impact of our yearly employer branding plan on this position.

• Developing employer branding material, with support from our communication agency on larger projects.

Your profile:

• Relevant experience and a strong academic background (with at least 3 years of experience)

• Based in Ostend, but also working in our Ghent and Brussels offices.

• Fluent in English (both spoken & written)

• A flexible attitude with a hands-on approach. That’s a must!

• A diplomatic communication style that will get you the required buy-in from other departments and managers.
