The Department of Physics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, under the supervision of Dr. Loreta Angela Muscarella, invites applications for the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship 2025. This prestigious fellowship provides outstanding funding, training, and career development opportunities for postdoctoral researchers interested in advancing their careers in Europe.

We Are Seeking Candidates To Develop a Competitive MSCA Application In The Field Of Novel Materials For Energy Conversion, With An Emphasis On Lead-free And Metal-free Perovskites. Our Research Group Focuses On The Following Areas

– Mechanochemical synthesis of perovskites

– Optoelectronic characterization under varied conditions (light, pressure, temperature)

– Investigation of new functionalities for optoelectronic and sensing applications

Requirements

– A strong background in materials chemistry, solid-state physics, energy research, or related fields

– Demonstrated research experience relevant to the focus areas above

– Interest in pursuing independent research and collaborative projects within our group
