Job Description

Position: Fabrication Technician

Reports to: Fabrication Manager

Job Summary:

Responsible for all required entry level processes listed below are adhered to and finished to completion.

Specific duties and responsibilities:

Complete all runtime sheets accurately and on time.

Complete all incoming pipe inspections as well as completing the associated documentation.

Accurately pick and pack component parts for assembly as assigned by the Fab Manager.

Begin the initial training of the assembly process.

Learn at minimum of two aspects of the grooving operation.

Learn and adhere to all 5S Housekeeping and maintenance aspects to ensure the building and property are clean and neat.

Adheres to all established policies, procedures and the code of ethics.

Other duties and tasks as assigned by the Fabrication Manager.

Qualifications (education, experience, personal attributes):

High School degree required.

A minimum of 1year technical experience.

Ability to read and understand blue print and schematic drawings and interpret technical manuals.

Basic inventory management skills.

Previous forklift experience.

Forklift license for required all specified equipment (must be obtained after employment).

Experience with forklift-mounted computers and bar-code scanners (can be trained on the job)

Capable of lifting up to 70 pounds.
