The Field Application Specialist Cell Line Development, Media and Testing Solutions (CMTS) will be responsible for offering overall product expertise, application knowledge and technical support along each step of the customer process with a focus on cell culture media implementation and optimisation. The main mission is to ensure successful adoption of the CMTS portfolio by supporting sales for product positioning and demonstration whilst supporting customers for application development work, initial startup, training and trouble shooting.

What you will accomplish together with us:

- Promotion of CMTS offerings - positioning Sartorius Media and Buffers as well as Protein Expression and Testing

-Support the Sales organization as the customer’s first point of technical contact on existing products through product presentations and trainings, and on new products in close collaboration with BA managers and product specialists

-Support Sales in the customer process, URS analysis, technical response & training requirement

- Provide technical qualification of sales opportunities

- Responsible for facilitating Technical Closure of the sale

- Support regional marketing initiatives

- Support the development of strong relationships with accounts within the assigned sales territory

- Report on competitors’ products and feedback information to the Application Services Team Management

What will convince us:

- BSc or MSc Degree, Graduate in biological engineering or life sciences

- Product and application expertise in Cell Culture Media

- 3-5 Years biopharmaceutical industry experience, R&D/PD/Scale-up/GMP preferred

- Experience in Cell Culture and /or Process Development (eventually in cGMP Bio-processing environment) - Bio-therapeutic proteins or Cell-Based Protein productions, Vaccines , Gene therapy - preferred

- Ability to effectively interface with product/project/division management

- Ability to interact at various levels (sales, technical, users)

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities accordingly

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Fluent in English plus other local languages (Dutch-French)

- Computer proficient in Windows-based software package including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and outlook
