JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Field Service Engineer (pre-analytical lab), you will play a vital role in:
- Installing, maintaining and repairing cutting-edge laboratory equipment.
- Resolve instrumentation issues through hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Delivering unparalleled customer satisfaction through comprehensive support for a wide array of analysers and systems.
- Ensuring that the systems, analysers and component products meet the manufacturer’s specifications.
- Optimising the performance of assigned systems and analysers within designated product lines to achieve peak functionality.
- Communicate effectively with the sales team and application specialists providing the colleagues with information about the needs of our customers.
- The main territory for this role is Antwerp.
REQUIRED COMPETENCES & SKILLS
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Electronics or Electro-mechanics.
- You talk fluency in Dutch, French and English (technical fluency).
- Your possession of knowledge in IT and network infrastructure is a strong advantage, enabling you to navigate and troubleshoot technical intricacies effectively.
- You are customer-orientated.
- You enthusiastically undertake your tasks with determination and alertness based on the results to be achieved.
- You can work independently, but you are also a team player.
- You are detail-oriented and carry out more complex tasks with a lot of attention.
- You have the ability to work in accordance with the objectives, vision and values of the organisation.
- You are orderly and meticulous in collecting and storing the information entrusted to you.
- You can assess a situation, find alternative solutions and carry these out.
- Your open-mindedness to attending international meetings and training courses reflects your eagerness to learn and grow on a global scale.
