For our Benelux organization we are currently looking for a Finance Assistant / Payroll Assistant for our Finance Department in Antwerpen.

Your Tasks:

  • Being able to provide administrative support, payroll administration support, finance support and IT support;
  • Payroll Administration:
    • Being able to process the complete payroll administration;
    • Updating the SD Workx payroll system;
    • Overtime hours of service engineers: registrartion, monitoring, controlling and payroll adminstration;
    • Recording and following training and medical checks (with the prevention advisor); deliver certificates for the personnel employee files from field service and workshop engineers;
    • Keeps the digital personnel files up-to-date;
    • Handles the digital personnel records in the personnel administration system;
    • Checking the holiday administration and registration. Making sure of an accurate and up to date holiday administration. Checking up on the employees if the holidays are processed in a correct manner;
    • HR-tasks related to wellbeing of employees;
    • Follow up of payroll and travel related insurances, namely hospitality and other benefit insurances, key-contact with insurers;
  • Finance support:
    • Logistical care of trainings (flight tickets, train tickets, visa, hotel reservations etc.);
    • Company car administration and follow-up;
    • Checking up on the invoices of the mobile phones of the employees;
    • Application of the A1 forms for the employees;
    • Administration for the bike mobility program;
    • General administrative support to the finance department;
    • Is responsible for correct and professional correspondence;
  • IT Support:
    • Making sure that the workplace is ready when a new joiner is going to start in the office. Working together with the IT consultant that the work space is ready and all required working tools are available (laptop, mobile phone, screens, docking station, welcome package);
    • Order IT materials for the IT consultant;


Who you are:

  • You are a qualified payroll finance assistant with at least 3 years of experience with payroll administration;
  • You have a financial background with knowledge of payroll administration;
  • You are assertive and motivated with the ability to work independently as well as in a team;
  • You can work under time pressure and you have excellent financial skills;
  • You are methodical and pays attention to detail;
  • You have a professional attitude;
  • You have no 9 – 5 mentality;
  • You have a good command of the English language (spoken and written);
  • You are living in the Antwerpen region and in possession of your own transport.
