Our client, a Real Estate Company, is looking for a Financial Controller for strengthening its finance team.

As a Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting for their activities. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall financial success and compliance of the firm.

Responsibilities:

  • You will prepare and analyze financial reports, statements, and forecasts on a regular basis.
  • You will assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • You will conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis.
  • You will monitor the cash flow and liquidity positions, ensuring sufficient funds are available for operations, debt service, and investment activities.
  • You will reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and perform month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • You will coordinate and assist with external audits,ensuring timely and accurate provision of requested information.
  • You will contribute to the enhancement and automation of financial systems and processes.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written English and French communication skills. Dutch is an asset.
