A new exciting opportunity as HR Director has just become available in an international company in the textile sector. As member of the board Committee, the HR Director will focus on the development of the HR strategy of this fast-developing company. As HR Director, you will manage a team of 3 people and report directly to the CEO.

Your tasks as an HR Director you will be :
  • Set up the HR strategy based on developing people and the organisation.
  • Set up action plans about digitalization, talent development, HR analytics & insight, agile culture, leadership.
  • Understand the business model and value proposition, to build trust and credibility in developing a high-performance culture in alignment with the company’s business objectives.
  • Create a trusted working environment that allows the people to perform in a compassionate and human-cantered environment which is aligned with our values (e.g. HR Taskforce, Employer in rethinking and continuously improving its HR Processes aligned with our overall strategy and 5Y plan.
  • Stakeholder management both inside and outside the company (Management Committee, labour relations, works council-committee).
  • Take HR initiatives to continuously improve the company culture and ensure everyone in the organization continues to love working in this international company.
  • Work together with the HR Team in order to challenge & improve our HR Tools & Reporting.
  • Support in hiring the best fitted people and oversee the scaling of the workplace infrastructure in line with the company’s growth.
  • Supervise and innovate the hiring process together with the HR Business Partner.
  • Enable talent development and succession planning, thinking long-term and big picture.
The Ideal Profile Of The HR Director
  • You have a bachelor or Master Degree in Human Resources, Psychology or other related domains.
  • At least 10 years’ work experience in HR - relevant experience as HR Manager/HR Director.
  • You have already an experience in people management.
  • Fluency in French & English, Dutch is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of Belgian labour law.
  • You are not afraid of being hands-on, while keeping your helicopter view.
  • Strong project management skills - ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders, including owning projects and topics from A to Z.
  • Operational Excellence - ability to work effectively, rigorously and with great discipline moving projects forward and designing and executing effective tools and processes.
  • Strong Emotional Intelligence - the ability to listen actively to people, understand and voice needs, take a step back and allow for neutral terrain.
  • Strong communication skills - ability to explain complex topics in a wide range of people.
